Summer is just about here. My girls have a week left in school and then it's vacation time. I am so looking forward to being able to just scrap anytime I want. Right now it is hard because all my scrap stuff is in my basement and I can't bring it up because i run a daycare and do not want my daycare kids to get into it all during the day. Now that its summer (I close my home daycare during the summer) I am able to get my scrap on. I just posted this months contest and challenge I hope you all can join in the fun.

What a great month!

It's official... I am back scrapbooking. It only took my youngest to turn two so that I could find the time but I'm back. I had the best time the beginning of the month in Maine. I went to point sebago for a scrapbooking retreat. I used to go every year Now that my little one is old enough I was ale to go back. It was a wonderful time and I got the chance to see some of my great online friends from northwest scrapbook friends. If you live in the northeast part of the US you should Deffinely look us up and join in the fun. My friend Laura got to come along with me. We had a last. We got there around 2:00 Friday afternoon and stayed there until Sunday around 12:00. I was able to get 14 layouts done and 9 cards. Felt so good to be ale to just sit and scrap and not worry about what the kids were doing what I was going to cook. To just sit and scrap. Ahhhhh Anyway I am already registered to go back next year. Although this time we are going to arrive on Thursday instead of Friday. Another whole day to scrap woohoo. I have lots planed for my blog so be on the look out starting in June. Happy scrapping...

Where did the year go?

I feel like this year went by way to fast. It's sad to say but I did not get many scrapbook pages done this year. It was just this month that I was able to pull out my scrap stuff and make a new space to be able to scrap. Now that I have this I really need to get myself back into the swing of things. I also made sure to get back into my fiskateer grove. They always help inspire me.

What are some ways that you get inspired? How do you get yourself out of a funk?

A great start to July!

July is Starting off with a bang!

I got to take my girls to New Hampshire and spend a week with my mother. We went to the beach and got to see a great Beatles band called Help. be sure to check them out here
so you can see where they are playing next.

My girls joined a new colorguard. They are just in love with this guard. Their team mates are all so nice as well as the staff and other parents. looks like its going to be a great year for them.

Now as for scrapbooking I have not got as much done so far this month as I would like to. I do have 1 two page LO that I finished. I am in the process of doing this months LO challenge on here as well as the card challenge.

ok so i know thats a really bad picture. i will have to get a better one on here for u. In the meantime I can not wait to see what you all come up with.

Been way to long

It really has been way to long since I had a chance to scrap. Having a new baby in the house and trying to run a home daycare just put a stop to all my scrapbooking. I am now on my summer break and will be going back to teaching this fall. This I hope will give me some more free time to scrap once again. With the new addition to the family i have lost my scrap room. I now have all my scrap stuff in big totes. So my question to all of you is this... how do you store your scrapbooking supplies so that you are able to find all of your different papers and embilshments with ease. I will also be posting a sketch challenge for the month of July as well as a card Challenge. Can not wait to hear what you all have to say about storage.

Summer is coming to an end

I can not believe that summer is now coming to an end. I feel like it just flew bye and that i really didn't get half done of what I wanted to get done. The girls are all doing great. The older two just came home from a vacation on the cape with yiayia. I was going crazy while they were gone. When they were away i painted on of their bedrooms. i will have to post some pictures for you all to see. Now i have to do the other bedroom and then the playroom. With having a baby and trying to entertain my girls for the summer i didnt get to do any scrapbooking. I am however going to try to make it a point to set time aside to scrap. With this said, i would like some help from all of you. How do you make sure to have time to scrapbook? How much time do you set aside to scrapbook? Do you have a room just for scrapbooking or pull stuff out as you go? If you do not have a scrapbooking room where do you scrap? I am giving my scraproom to my older daughter so she can have her own room and really need ideas on how to keep up with my scrapbooking without a room to keep all my stuff out.

It's summer

I feel like the school year went by so fast. Things have been a little crazy here with Stavroula being born on April 10th. I am still trying to learn how to do things with the kids. it's kinda hard finding stuff to do with the older girls and being able to bring the baby along too. If any of you have any ideas that would be great. the older girls are 10 and 8. I Have not yet found the time to scrap and really really need to. Stavroula is now almost 3 months old and the only lo i have of her is one i did of her ultrasound before she even came. so u all need to help me out. i need to get my scrapping mojo back!
